Now, in this Kali Yuga, bogus is taken as real. There is only one real Lakshmi Shank, and that is Valampuri Turbinella Pyrum from Indian Seas. This shell is sacred, very rare and valuable, costing hundreds of thousands of Rupees. But certain dealers are selling another type of shell, Whelk (busycon contrarium) from North America, a common Whelk shell, and calling as a SHANKH (Conch), as "Valampuri" or "Dakshinvarti Lakshmi Shank". This is either ignorance of the truth OR fraud. Either way the result is the same, i.e., getting a BOGUS Valampuri. BUYER BEWARE!!! Those listed below commit FRAUD by misleading the public about Shankh (Conch), and offering a common Whelk shell.
