that is used to enhance the powers of Moon. The planet Moon is by nature
saumya (Gentle) and represents the manahsthiti (mind) of the Kalpurusha.
An individual who has the Moon, well placed in ones chart will
be a balanced individual. Among all nine planets, Moon is the fastest
moving. Consequently effects of changing position of the moon are felt
by human beings and all the creatures of nature at short intervals. The phenomenon of tides is also affected by the gravitational pull
of the moon. Interestingly, it exercises a similar effect on the human
body as close to seventy percent of it is water. Recent scientific research
has also linked lunar cycles and occurrence of heart attacks. Moon rules over the sign of cancer and when badly placed or under the
influence of malefics gives ailments like tuberculosis, epilepsy, depression,
mood swings, blood pressure, phobias etc. The gemstone of the moon is
pearl. The ailments that have been attributed to a badly placed moon
are cured by this gem. The pearl is a blessing as it presents a solution
for maladies of the mind. Pearl bestows clarity of thought and gives
stability of the mind. Pearl is not suitable for everyone. Here we will analyze the suitability
of pearl for the 12 ascendants from Aries to Pisces. Aries Ascendant Taurus Ascendant Gemini Ascendant Cancer Ascendant Leo Ascendant Virgo Ascendant Libra Ascendant Scorpio Ascendant Sagittarius Ascendant Capricorn Ascendant Aquarius Ascendant Pisces Ascendant Vedic Ritual for Wearing Pearl - If these constellations do not occur in the period when the wearing
of pearl is important then one may wear it on any Shukla Paksha Monday
and in the Hora of the Moon. Those who wear pearl should not wear a Blue Sapphire, Diamond
or Gomedh along with it. The pearl is a very good stone. It gives a calming influence and keeps
the minds focused and steady. It is found to have excellent remedial
powers in the diseases commonly afflicting women. It controls mental
anxiety and mood swings in a person and ensures that anger and depression
are under control. It gives the capacity to enjoy and appreciate life. Those individuals in whos chart Moon is not well placed and is
giving bad results in the mahadasha or the Antar Dasha should donate
rice on Mondays, worship Lord Shiva (one of Shivas name is Chandramoulishvar-one
who holds the moon on his forehead), wear two faced Rudraksha bead,
offer water mixed with milk on the Shiva lingam on Mondays, respect
mother and chant the Chandra Gayatri mantra. This will ensure peace
and prosperity. Guruji Shrii Arnav - Vedic Guru is also an internationally acclaimed planetary gemmologist.
